Coming to Edisto Beach but unsure of what you should do? We've put together some itineraries for inspiration!
Day 1: Beach Day
Afternoon: After check-in at 4pm, head to your new home for the week to get settled in!
Evening: Enjoy a quick stroll on the beach and then head over to enjoy the delicious fare at McConkey’s Jungle Shack.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at The Sea Cow Eatery. This is popular spot for breakfast—but, if you have to wait you won’t mind perusing the goods at The Edisto Beach Surf Shop and Curly Girl Gifts. After breakfast pop by Island Bike’s and Outfitters to rent bikes for the duration of your stay.
Afternoon: After squeezing in some more beach time, take a drive out to The Edisto Island Serpentarium.
Dinner: On your way home pick up some fried seafood from the “To-Go” Food Truck behind Flowers Seafood.
Morning: Start your day off with some light shopping! Be sure to visit With These Hands Gallery and The Edisto Bookstore (pick up a beach read for later!)
Afternoon: Apply liberal amounts of sunscreen and enjoy a beach read in the sun!
Evening: Dress up a little with your newly sun kissed glow and enjoy dinner and drinks at Ella & Ollie’s
Morning: Check the tides and go for a kayaking adventure with Edisto Watersports & Tackle.
Afternoon: You may be a bit tired after soaking up all those rays on the creek, so an afternoon playing cards or board games indoors or on the porch is definitely in order!
Evening: Pick up some fresh shrimp straight off the Sarah Jane shrimp boat from Edisto Seafood. Shrimp always pairs well with potatoes, sausage and corn!
Morning: If you have any leftover shrimp, this is a great morning to prepare a Shrimp & Grits breakfast!
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon learning about our diverse ecosystem with a Botany Bay Ecotours Dolphin Tour. If you already feel well versed in our local biology.
Evening: Spend the evening at Pressley’s at the Marina, dining on delicious food while enjoying an amazing view!
Morning: Back to the beach!
Afternoon: If you haven’t already explored the Bike Path, now is the time. If you’re not sure if you’ve covered the whole thing, you can view a map here. Time it right and make a pit stop at Whaley’s for lunch to refuel (this is funny because it used to be a gas station!).
Evening: What could be better than ending your day with a Sunset Cruise. Call the Marina at Edisto Beach to book a Sunset Cruise for you and your group. For a more adult event—pack some libations and make it a Booze Cruise!
Morning: Soak up one last morning with a beautiful sunrise view from the ocean side deck at Coots. Make sure you’ve collected all of your belongings to be ready for check-out at 10am.
Afternoon: After dropping off your keys with Atwood, stop by King’s Market and Geechie Boy Mill for some delicious souvenirs! Have a safe drive home and come back soon!
